On the evening of February 9, I got word that Ronnie Vetch, the pastor of our church in Bowdle, SD, had suffered a major heart attack and passed to his heavenly reward. Wanda and I have been involved in a continuing effort to assist both the church and the pastor’s widow. We’ve made several trips to Bowdle since Pastor Ron’s passing and have developed a great relationship with the church family. The town of Bowdle is made up of just under 500 people and is over an hour away from amenities provided by the closest city (Aberdeen). We have a beautiful church building, a fantastic parsonage, and a strong congregation, but we are in need of a pastor. Please help us pray that God will identify the man or woman that He has chosen to lead this ministry effort.
