We have two congregations here in Bismarck. The pastor of one of those churches informed me in early February that he had accepted the pastorate of a church in Illinois. I have filled the pulpit at Gateway Community Fellowship on several Sundays since the pastor relocated. It was my honor to share Easter Sunday morning with them as well. Fortunately, I have also been able to call upon other ministers in the area to help cover this vacancy. I am continuing to pray about who the next pastoral leader of this church should be. I have met with the congregation and heard from them about what qualities and attributes that they would like to see in their next pastor. Please help me pray that God would identify the right person to fill this vacancy.
